The Tampa Theatre and Office Building, built in 1926, was designed by noted architect John Eberson and constructed by Paramount Pictures. It is one of the most elaborate movie palaces built in the United States and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service as well as designated a Tampa City Landmark. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) ranks the Tampa Theatre as the third best movie venue in the world and the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) lists the Tampa Theatre as one of the top 10 most beautiful theatres in the world. Mr. Fitzgibbons is one of the owners of the Office Building and his firm is located on the seventh floor above the Theatre. We are located one block from the United States Courthouse and several blocks from the Hillsborough County Criminal Courts Annex. Mr. Fitzgibbons and the other owners of the Office Building are committed to the continued preservation of their part of this iconic Tampa treasure.
